i tried to upload my project using an ftp account. but this does not work, there's just the status "failed". where can i get further information about the problem? the ftp account i use is active, i can connect through filezilla without any problem.

check ftp server logs.
If they contains no relevant info, check server name in the account settings. It should contain either valid host name or IP address.
Then check port number.

ah, i found the problem: i had typed

ftp://???.ch

as server address, but it needs just

???.ch

sure, ftp://xxx.xxx is not a correct host name
