First of all, DBG is simply a MUST for professional PHP development. We've been using it for almost 2 years already and find it really nice.

What i especially like about DBG is the fact it's not attached to any particular IDE and it makes possible to use just any compatible visual debugger. We use jedit for PHP content and SE(!) IDE for debugging purposes(please note i'm talking about Win32).

So we have 2 Apaches running on the same box. The first one is a standard Apache with PHP module running on the 80 port. The second one is the Apache with PHP and DBG debugger on the 81 port. This allows very quick switching to debug mode with just adding 81 port to the current browser address...

The questions are:
1)why SE IDE support/development was stopped?
2)is it possible to buy commercial versions of the latest DBG releases without PhpED?

It was aquired by NuSphere and all the parts of SE were included to PHPED IDE.

It makes no sense. Commercial version of DBG is allowed to work with PHPED IDE only.

This is really sad

Ok, at least, when is the latest version of DBG expected to be out?

If you mean 2.11 branch it will happen in January, if you mean 2.16 branch (commercial) it will happen with the next PHPED release.

There will be an update to dbg-cli at this time, as well?
