dbg-cli doesn't run

I'm on Mac OS X 10.3.6. The dbg.so for php 4.3.7 is working. I've set up DDD under XFree86 but I'm getting nowhere with the cli client so I can make use of that.

This will look familiar to many of you, I guess:

try to compile with system-provided pcre library instead of one shipped with dbg-cli. See this post for detailsmy-success-with-gcc-3-x-pcre-debian-t1074.html

OK. I tried that. It built with fink-installed pcre. But I still have the same problem. Thanks for trying though.
