destroy session?

I need to clear $_SESSION cookies during debugging sessions, but when I shut down SRV nothing happens. Also using session_destroy doesn't work. The only thing that works is restarting IDE

What should I do?

cookies are always stored on the client side which is represented by the IDE... Hope it explains...
