Code Template Produces Unexpected Output

Maybe I'm missing something here, but I went to create my first code template (WinXp, PhpEd 3.3.2 build 3386 eval), using the following text:

Code:
/**
* function
* @param type $foo
* @return type
* @desc
*/

But what I get when I hit Ctrl+J is the text of the template Base 64 encoded:

Code:
LyoqDQoqIGZ1bmN0aW9uDQoqIEBwYXJhbSB0eXBlICRmb28NCiogQHJldHVybiB0eXBlDQo
qIEBkZXNjDQoqLw==

This happens whenever I try to create a new template or edit one that I've created, but not when I edit one of the defaults. A bug, or a very esoteric feature?

yes, it's known problem. Fix will be available on the next week (possibly on the Monday).

This still has not been fixed. And I want to be using code templates as this is an advertised feature. We have purchased copies of this product.

Tests we ran on the Friday showed some other minor problems so the update is re-scheduled on for Friday, October 15

I purchased phpEd yesterday (October 21) and have version 3.3.2 (Build 3386)

Where do I go to get the fix referred to in this thread that fixes the code template problem? Or is it's release still delayed?

Thanks,
