Don't expect too much from a product barely in a maintenance mode, for which biggest updates consist of updating bundled PHP and last new feature was added about 10 yrs ago.
It took almost 1.5 year to add support for PHP 8.0 since official PHP release and then almost a year to add for 8.1 and 8.2 respectively.

Dear lubosdz,

Your info is not accurate. PHP-8.0 was released 2020-Nov-24 18:11 -- you can check this here https://museum.php.net/php8/
PhpED 19.5 with support for PHP-8.0 and some important features was released June 17, 2021 -- you can find it here https://www.nusphere.com/news/index.htm
So it took more than 2 times less time to add support for PHP 8.0.

Dear radekz,
We released v21 with full support for PHP-8.3 on June 2. Current build is 21018. You're welcome to use it. lubosdz is welcome too.

I haven't seen any official word on PHP 8.3 support for DBG yet. When I last checked, it wasn’t fully compatible, but sometimes these things get updated pretty quickly. I’d suggest keeping an eye on the DBG GitHub or forums for any new updates—they usually announce things there first. If it’s something you really need, you might also try reaching out to the community or devs to see if there's any timeline for support.
