Although CVS is IMHO a better system, I'd like PHPEd to support MS Sourcesafe. We use a lot of MS tools so Sourcesafe is very convenient and right now, it's a pain to have to quit PHPed to check files in/out of Sourcesafe

Yes, ineed SourceSafe is a good system... But works under Win32 only.
We'll think about implementing it through our plugin API.
Anyway, not sure when...

There are several interesting version control systems out there. I switched to subversion some weeks ago and until now, I am very happy with the improvements I got over CVS. Therefore, I would welcome if PHPEd would support more systems like subversion or sourcesafe. If this cost too much development time, I can image this as a add-on for 20$ each or something like that.

Keep up the good work, Nike

Hmm, I think if SubVersion has a commandline interface, it _can_ be used the same way as cvs.exe is currently used. Have you tried ?

So how about it? When will NuSphere support sourcesafe? Is there perhaps an opensource plug-in anyone knows of?
