There are several interesting version control systems out there. I switched to subversion some weeks ago and until now, I am very happy with the improvements I got over CVS. Therefore, I would welcome if PHPEd would support more systems like subversion or sourcesafe. If this cost too much development time, I can image this as a add-on for 20$ each or something like that.

Hmm, I think if SubVersion has a commandline interface, it _can_ be used the same way as cvs.exe is currently used. Have you tried ?
