smarty syntax highlighting change the smarty delimiter

Hello,

I have just started evaluating PhpEd..
Is there a way to change the syntax
left_delimiter
right_delimiter

for the smarty syntax highlighting. As I do not use the default { } as they conflict with Javascript alot.
