i already asked for this more than one time, always checking after every update of PhpED ... but nothing.
So i ask again:
please show in the debugger windows (local, global, watch ....) the stringlength in the type-column,
as you do it for objects and arrays.
Unfortunatley image upload does not work in this forum so i try to
write down an example screenshot.

Name Type Value
>x object (3 Elements)
>a array (200 Elements)
s string (length of string ) 'asjflasjfljaslfkjowiejfrj ioaifdjlkasjfija fjaisjf asdfiasfjiasjfoiajs fijaiosfj ajsfja sjf'

Calculating string length might a bit tricky considering various encoding length - utf-8/16/32, chinese, latin1 (single byte) ..
It's much easier to display the number of array elements, nothing tricky there Smile
However, I agree that responses to new features are very frustrating for PHPEd over years {Neutral}

That should do the trick, I'll just finish installing the parts from 4WheelOnline to the truck and I will try that.
