i was more thinking about a toggled menu item or keyboard shortcut combination. much along the same lines as the menu items "to lower case" and "to up ...

hey, i couldn't find an answer to the question so thought i would post.

is there a way to convert tab characters to spaces (e.g.; 1 tab converts to 4 spaces)
