Known issue, is actually fixed when using the go-pear.phar from here: http://pear.php.net/go-pear.phar All works now! (Sorry for answering my own question ... |

Using PhpED 4.6.2/4630 after clean install loaded the PHP-5.2.0 from NuSphere, and followed directions as mentioned here:
