I'm having issues too
I had it working on another server running centOS5.5
Now I have migrating to a server using RHEL5.5(basically same thing, right?)

But now I can't get phpexpress to work anym ...

For anyone who has issues with this on there CentOS5 systems:
Be sure to use the glibc 2.3 version.
And after copying to your extensions directory, use chmod 0755 on the ph ...
