Subject: [resolved] dbg extension not loaded properly
This was resolved. I changed the entry in php.ini to

extension=dbg.so

and it worked.

I tried to install the dbg extension, but when I check the phpinfo() output I can only see a line:

Zend Engine v2.1.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2006 Zend Technologies
with DBG v2.15.5, (C) 2000,2007 ...
