dbg-cli 2.11.32 and before does not pass env variables to php. You may want to use HTTP mode and in this case it's HTTP server is responsible for passing them.

I'm trying to compile 2-11.30 on SuSE linux 9.2, and am getting the error:

unable to find '-lsocket'

dbglistener does not support POSTS too. HTTP/POST is what you run from the browser using <form method=post>. Alternatively you may add POST variable using phped run->parameters, in this case ...

I was told that there was a dbg-cli-2.11-30 out there somewhere... Unfortunately, the only dbg-cli I see on slashdot is .26.

the major and minor versions should be exactly the same.
Also as far as I remember 2.11.23 (not sure of 2.11.26) has a weird problem under sparc and all other bigendian cpus. So you'd better use 2 ...
