i was wondering how to start a debug session programatically? i would like to do something like prof_results.php where you could just include it at the end and it would print out function profile info ...

DBG 2.11.x profiler captures performance data only during debug session.
Hopefully it will be improved in a next version.

so how exactly do you use the prof_results script. i'm sorry for being a b ...
