Is the str2date() function defined somewhere? DB-Form generates calls to it, but I don't see it defined nor can I find any reference to it online...

BTW, for anyone still struggling with this problem...you're not alone. I am running PhpEd v. 4.0.1 and I separately copied the new MySQL libmysql.dll into the PhpEd directory from the 4.1.18 version ...

For anyone trying the same thing...this cure did not work for me.
I downloaded the 4.1.18 version of the installer-free MySQL package and copied the libmysql.dll in to the PhpEd directory. Nada. ...

I don't get it...I thought the default behavior of PHP was to make COPIES of variables..? Given my example in the first post, shouldn't both those variables contain copies of the value they were set ...
