I'm in the same boat as you. I'm a telecommuter, so all my projects are three timezones away on an ftp server.

Downloaded the SSL versions of the dbg module and saw that it was 32-bit, and no 64-bit version was available. Tried the Linux x86_64 just for funssies, but that didn't work. Sent in a support ticket, ...
