I downloaded another copy of php_manual_en.chm frpm php.net to replace the one supplied with PHPEd.
It works OK now. Problem solved.

I checked IDE Help settings. 17 manuals and all ticked. No problems with CodeInsight.
Did some extra testing. F1 works perfectly in HTML and JS scripts. Perhaps I have a dodgy ...
