Is it possible to open more than 1 concurrent phped instances (on windows) ?

I also am eager to find out how this is done.

I have tried the previous tip (adding the "-mi" parameter when launching) but no luck (on Windows 7).

Ok, it worked. I was missing a hyphen (-)

the trick is to type in the Command Line or in Start -> Run

C:\Program Files\nusphere\phped\phped.exe --mi
(or anyother path to your phped.exe)

Notice the 2 (two) hyphens !

Actually you can add the argument to your shortcut's target property.

For example, my shortcut's target is:

"C:\Program Files\nusphere\phped\phped.exe" --mi
