PhpED does not include MySQL, it has integration to MySQL.

You need to install either a distribution (eg WAMP) that includes it although many might have older versions, or download from http://www.mysql.com (commercial) or http://dev.mysql.com (community edition)

Latest v5.6 of MySQL is available from http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/5.6.html

I have connected to mysql previously using nusphere because it is just hostname, username, dbname, password

but if I do something advanced like (phpunit) or (command line php) then libraries need to be connected

so I would need to install php and connect libraries

because when I go to nusphere->settings->external tools

some mysql libraries are written in red.
