What do the project icons in the workspace tab mean?

I've set up 2 projects in the same workspace, for some reason each one has a different icon. The first has a "square icon that looks like a miniature version of the ide". The second has a "blue globe with a yellow star".

Is there a FAQ somewhere that explains the difference?
