Probably really simple but i cant find it.

"How do i remove the mark all effect" ?


I did a search for useage, chose mark all, and now cant remove the marking.

I used "edit > Highlight it" and it seems to work.

Anyone know what "edit > highlight it" is really for? I cant get it to do anything and i cnat find it in the help file

"Highlight it" is for when the Auto highlight feature, found under editor settings is turned off.

From the manual this is what auto highlight does
"When enabled it highlights properties and methods with the same name. For example if the cursor is placed on call of $this->myFunction() all instances of myFunction in the same file will be highlighted. It works the same way for variables, properties and methods."

Edit: In answer to your original question, I just start typing and it seems to remove the highlighting. Seems strange that there isn't any other obvious way to do it
