Add build id to file name or file descriptor

aloha,

the last day some builds have been released. And to be honest, I forget which one I downloaded. So I tried to find out what version I have, but it didn't work out since I can't find the build number anywhere in the file (yes I know, the splash screen shows, but you don't see the splash screen until you installed the packet).

Hence my suggestion: Please add the build number to the file name or the file descriptor. Something like: "NuSphere-phped-5.2-Win32-b0000.exe" would be great. Another option could be to add the build to the file descriptor. At the moment I can read there:

"
File Version: 0.0.0.0
Description: NuSphere PhpEd Setup
Copyright: Copyright 2000,2008 NuSphere Corp.

Version Information
Element Name: File Version | Value: {empty}
Element Name: Company | Value: NuSphere Corp.
Element Name: Comments | Value: This installation was built with Inno Setup.
Element Name: Language | Value: English (USA)
"

Thanks
Marcus

I think this option is easier to implement

Hehe, I usually rename the file upon saving it so it contains the build number as I like to keep multiple versions anyway :p
But agreed, having this done from the start would be easier Smile
