I used to use KATE in KDE to do development and one of the things I miss from that application was that you could create display profiles and specify different code highlighting and editor color settings for each one. An example of how I used this was that I had two profiles, Night and Day. Night changed the background color to black and adjusted the code highlighting accordingly for working in a dark environment. Day of course was the opposite and looked much like the default in PhpED today. I would love to see this seemingly simple addition.
