unless they make a new release where this issue is fixed, you can open some windows ocnnection manager, check the url that checks for updates ( u can fire it manualy from the Help menu ) and add it into your hosts file Smile

Soudns stupid, but I think it should do the trick Very Happy

pfff, I spend 3 hours looking for the tool i know about this stuff and it is call Proxifier.

However it doesnt show new connections when I check for newer version.
on boot up it seems only to check for some certificates.

Except for some direct calls on port 80 on nusphere.com.

But you can't really block nusphere.com for undestandable reasons Very Happy

Anyways, hope dmitri will help you with this one.

Sorry and have a nice day

Or...

Change the checkbox directly in the settings pages....

Tools > Settings > IDE > IDE Settings

change the state of "Check for new version"

Sorry, but this version phased out long ago.
You can switch to v16 (16062) where this problem was fixed a few months ago.
If you want to save money and you're not going to upgrade, check "remind me later". In this case it will re-appar after ~30-40 days. I think it's better than everyday. Sorry again. Can't fix anything in v15.
