Can the terminal have an option to allow it to be undocked. It can be floating but this is a pain on multi monitor setups as it is hidden from the taskbar. For example

Monitor 1 has PhpED
Monitor 2 has a browser and the terminal window

if the browser is on top of the terminal window the terminal is hidden and the only way to get it back is to either move the mouse to monitor 1 and bring the focus back to PhpEd or alt-tab to PhpEd, it would be far easier if it shows in the Taskbar (or at least has the option to be a completely seperate window. I find myself using a third party SSH terminal for ease of use.

Try Bitvise SSH Client. You probably won't want to use the PhpED terminal again. Wink

Not sure if it would work with a floating PhpED window, but have a look at autohotkey for making windows stay on top. I gave a short macro for doing that somewhere in this forum.
