I keep getting files named with a ~ in my project folders. I'm assuming they are for the validator. But then don't go away until I delete them. Is there a way to not have them stick around?

As far as I know PhpED does not create any temporary files with tilda ("~"). It may create temporary files in _temporary_ directory, the directory which purpose is to store temporary filies. Moreover, what PhpED creates it also deletes.

If you have
"Create Backup Files" check in the IDE Settings it will do the following...

As you save your file, saves the older version in another file adding "~" to the extension.

Thanks for reminding.

Well now there isn't a problem... I was going crazy as this created additional files that I had to setup to exclude from SubVersion and Uploading. I just wanted to shut it off...

On a side You guys REALLY are one of the BEST for support!
Thanks again!
