Hello,

Many front-end developers now using MV* or MVC JavaScript libraries while developing user interface (such as Backbone.js or Angular.js or Chaplin.js... more ). I think that "JS Framework support" feature it is such usefull thing as "PHP Framework support" feature, and it can be realized exactly like "PHP Framework".

Of course you need to support AMD (Asynchronous Module Definition API) for JavaScript code-completion (as in Require.js).

What do you think about JS Framework feature?

Thnx.

Though I'm not temuri, I would say there are more important things

Huh, If you tried write interfaces on MVC JS Frameworks then you must know that PHPEd is totally unuseful in this. Maybe only text-formatting feature works correctly...

FYI, today "JS-interfaces" is a standard, so If I can't do standard things with my IDE then why I need (pay for) this IDE - this is why it is important.

Agree, but personally I would be much happier with the IDE having excellent PHP support and no support for JS MV* frameworks rather than having mediocre support for PHP and mediocre support for JS MV* frameworks. That's just my 2 cents.

Sure, but I didn't asked developers to decrease "PHP support", I just want my life became little easier with 'normal' JS support. Wink

P.S. As for me: PHP support in PhpED is really OK.
