I have just downloaded the eval version and I'm pretty sure I'm being a bit thick as I see no mention of this in this forum.

What I understand:

I can remove the files in "web" change phpdoc.ini to load index.php then build a working PHP application .. great! exactly what I need.

What I don't understand:

Ok so I've built the application and now want to distribute it .. now I can't just zip up the folder and distribute it as the paths would be wrong .. it needs the installer to run. Surely I don't have to install the base package and then mod all the .ini files etc??

I apologise in advance for what I'm sure is just me being daft today.

Ok looked into this a little .. do I have to learn how to build windows installers?

I downloaded Inno Setup from the web but it looks like a new science (that I don't have time to learn)

Thanks for replying, it was getting a bit lonely here Smile

Big thanks to the guy who stickied this post I spent half a day learning/playing with Inno Setup and got my first application into an exe that worked!
