It is already supported - I'm using it every day.

All you need is to put autocomplete stubs into PHPEd folder.

Agree, but personally I would be much happier with the IDE having excellent PHP support and no support for JS MV* frameworks rather than having mediocre support for PHP and mediocre support for JS M ...

Huh, If you tried write interfaces on MVC JS Frameworks then you must know that PHPEd is totally unuseful in this. Maybe only text-formatting feature works correctly...
