PhpED says that html role is an "unexpected/unsupported" attribute.

This attribute is not a part of HTML 5.0 standard

Yes, you're right. It is ARIA attribute.

it looks like an html-5.2 attribute. This standard is by far not finished and we don't provide support for it,
but you can compose the list of updated attributes and include them in the IDE
(see comments in %APPDATA%\config\phped.rel )

Thanks !

I made a file phped-petru.rel

Content is:
[HTML5]
role=&globals,button,layout,link,logo,image,main

Is it right?

It seems nothing happens...

no, that's not right.
You need to create the following section [HTML.Attr.HTML50] with &globals key that lists all attributes from phped.rel and adds role. This will add role to all HTML 5.0 tags. If you want to add attribute to specific tags, you have to copy corresponding lines with tags on the left side (keys). Also you may want to add [HTML.Attr.desc.HTML50] section with description for new attribute(s).
