PHPEd v13/v12 - flicker when displaying variable tooltips

Hi,

First off, I have a decent computer.

When in debug mode and hovering over a variable or constant:

a) a small tooltip appears which says "evaluating..." for about quarter of a second
b) variable value is displayed in the properly sized tooltip

Now, the delay and display of two tooltips of different sizes produce extremely unpleasant flicker effect. It is absolutely impossible to work with that the whole day.

Does anyone experience the same?

Thanks.

I previously reported this or a very similar problem during the testing of v13, but it appeared to be fixed in more recent releases and I never saw this problem with v12. What PhpED build and theme are you using?

If you drag the tooltip slightly over to the right so it is away from the mouse pointer, does the problem go away?

Hi,

It is not a visual artifact or a flicker caused by video card. Looks like during remote debugging session evaluation of variables takes so much longer in v12/v13 that you can actually see "evaluating.." placeholder.

I've been using PHPEd for a long long time, and this is the first time I'm seeing it.

Is it the same for you?

Thanks

I only had the flickering on a single build of PhpED, then the problem went away with the next build.
