Dear Users,
From time to time we're getting questions regarding PHP Frameworks support in PhpED.
We decided to post a short reply on forums, hopefully it’d be helpful.
PhpED supports both debugging and code completion for any PHP Framework.
To make it happen, as a first step, we recommend to run Project Settings Wizard (menu file->new project), to set up a project. After project creation, please note that there is a “Default file or URL” field in the project properties, in “Run & Debug” in “Run Mode”.
Please take a look at the page dedicated to PHP Frameworks support: http://www.nusphere.com/products/php_frameworks.htm. You’ll see links to tutorials over there, but please note, that PhpED supports all Frameworks, not only those listed on the page above. We’ll keep adding tutorials to our site.
As always, in case of specific questions please contact our support over online form at http://shop.nusphere.com/contact_us/.
Please don’t post questions here, we’d be glad to work with you over our ticket system if you submit your question online using the form above.
Best regards,
NuSphere Customer Care

Just out of curiosity - what exactly does that mean "framework support" ?
Some specific parsing?
Recognizng specific directory structure?
I never noticed any difference "using XXX framework" (mostly Yii) and without that.
Is that just kind of marketing promo ?
Thanx.

Meaning depends on the framework. In general it means better code completion, find declaration and function tooltips that otherwise wouldn't work. In many cases IDE can recognize MVC components and provide tree in the Framework tab and tabs at the bottom of the editor for better navigation between components. See how it looks like on this page http://www.nusphere.com/products/php_frameworks.htm and pay attention to what code completion is showing, what's below the editor area and what is on the Framework tab.
