We're currently reviewing your product for use in our company and we really like your debug approach.
however we have a 'problem' with the Smarty feature.

Your product only give autocompletion with Smarty if the tpl files use the standard { and } delimiters.
In our company projects we have a smarty helper object class that initiates Smarty and changes the delimiters to <?smarty for opening and ?> for closing. We do this because { and } can give problems with other languages.

Some people suggest the following:
smarty-syntax-highlighting-change-the-smarty-delimiter-t4521.html?highlight=smarty tag
Where they suggest to add some manual code to change the delimiter, but that beats the purpose because we have all our Smarty logic in one place.

So would it be possible to add an option to change the Smarty delimiters in PhpED.

This has been requested a couple of times.
I think it is planned to have this function in the next major release.
I am also waiting this function as well.

tools->settings->misc->smarty deliminers is not what you are looking for?
