I often have to save my search results to a text file so that I can work on a sub-search. It would be nice to be able to save several sets of search results (e.g as in Komodo), so I can switch between them.

That is already supported.

When you do a search in files, whilst the search is running there is a progress dialog with a tickbox for Close on finish. Untick that box so that the progress dialog stays on-screen when the search has finished.

You can now perform additional searches and you will get additional sets of search results. Wink

@plugnplay - Thanks for that tip! It certainly helps, but (a) that's a very obscure way of doing things, and (b) Not too good on the usability side. However - it's a great workaround for the moment. Just a little more work from NuSphere - I'm sure they have nothing better to do... Smile - and it will be perfect.

With some searches, i cant untick the "close on finish" box quick enough before the search has finished !

It was requested by me loong ago.
This is a "must have" feature in big projects.
Take a look at Visual Studio how it works there.
