I am trying to modify the standard template files included with PhpED. I have navigated to 'C:\Program Files\NuSphere\PhpED\templates' where I found the template files. I then opened 'Php File.php' and made the changes that I wanted to, saved it and closed it. I then created a new file using the 'Php File.php' template but my template does not load. I have restarted PhpED as well as my machine, hoping there might be a cache of the file keep the old template file loading in PhpED, but the original template still loads.

Am I missing something in modifing the templates?

The file you have changed is the master template, not the one that is in your user profile.

If you go to %APPDATA%\nusphere\phped\templates you will find the templates that are active for your profile.
