Is there the possibility to exclude certain folders while searching into files?
For example, I would like not to search into a Node folder, due to the big amount of files, while looking for a js function into the rest of the project ...
I know how to look into specific folders, but I would like to achieve the opposite: to search into the project apart form certain folders.

You may want to exclude such folders from the project in the first place -- there is hide directories input in the project properties for that.
Then if you search for files in the project, such directories will be skipped
