Hi All:

I would greatly appreciate recommendations on graphic UML tools from fellow PhpED users. Forward- and reverse-engineering capabilities would be important.

Thanks is advance.

Hi,

I use Enterprise Architect. Has full support for XML transformations at several levels (Object, Class, DB). Unfortunately, support for PHP is somewhat limited due to PHP's loose OOP nature.

You can find the product here: http://sparxsystems.com

Hope that helps.

Thanks for your response. I came across Enterprise Architect via Google. If I remember correctly, there was no stand-alone option but plug-in architecture for use in either Eclipse or Visual Studio. I assume you are using the Eclipse plug-in.

I am currently trying Bouml (http://bouml.free.fr), which is free, but has a non-standard user interface. I will post my impressions later here if I can get a fair sense of its capabilities and how it can fit into the work flow.

Not True. this is a stand alone product. Works on it's own.
