I REALLY can't stand the keyboard browsing in phpEd. Say I have a bunch of folders and I want to jump to a file. If I type the first few letters, it seems to find the first occurance of it... in subfolders that may be before that.

Say I have a folder called lib with a "Publisher" file in there, then later on (in the root), I have a "publisher" folder.

If I am at the root, and type in "p-u-b", it first goes to some file called poster inside of /content, then opens lib/Pub once I hit the U.

This is unlike ANY other type of file browser I have EVER used. It makes by far the most sense that the letters you hit should jump to the file/folders within the level you are at.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE look at revising this!

+1 from me. This has annoyed me to bits as well on numerous occasions.

and +1 from me. I am using Total Commander instead, as this issue makes browsing file with phpEd unusable.
