Joomla backend component to display PHP Express page

We've created and published a free and simple administration component for Joomla 1.5 to present the PHP Express cache control page. Through the component, the cache control page is displayed in a standard way for administrators of Joomla-based web sites. It also means this page can be made available to administrators on a public Joolma-based web site without being open to non-admin users.

You can download the component from the Joomla extensions catalog (search for site management->cache) or download from our downloads site:

I have downloaded and installed the component, however when I click the "On" radio button, it simply reboots my admin back to the control panel. I return to the PHP Express cache control page, and no settings have been saved. I get precisely the same results when clicking the "Clear cache" and "Update cache" buttons.

Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Presumably you see the same behavior when you use <?php echo PHPExpress(); ?> in a page? I see consistent behavior. That is, the PHPExpress function works the same in a standalone web page or in the Joomla backend component.

Thank you for clarifying that. I honestly never attempted the standalone web page.

Are there any reasons there is no PHP 5.4 version of this extension?
