How to debug thru multiple pages, without stopping?

1.I have a page1.php which collects certain inputs-the debug works all good and gives me the output.
2.On the output of page1.php, I have choices for multiple links
3.I click one of the links on page1.php, and it must take me to page2.php with required variables passed betweent he 2 pages.

How do I get the IDE to go to debugger mode during transfer from page1.php to page2.php along with passed variables(Get or post method), and not directly go to output of page2.php.

Really desperate for this answer. Sad
Else there is no point starting debugger separately on my page2.php which is designed to start with variables passed from page1.php!!!!

I am in the same boat...I know this used to work!

Now I am searching around to figure out what settings (created a new project) may need to be tweaked.

Kinda defeats the purpose of "debugging" to have it STOP once you click a link.

I know I used to be able to click a link on page1 and then it would open page2 where I could step through it and look at the values being passed....

I'm an asp.net developer moving to php and evaluating PhpED. Continuing the debug session while navigating through the project is a normal feature of Microsoft Visual Studio, does it exist in PhpED?
