Do you mean Dynamic Highlighting (F12), Autohighlighting (no key assigned but in Editor options) or some other highlighting?

Dynamic higlighting will highlight the HTML, JavaScript or PHP part of a file that you are working in. For example, if you are working in a template that contains both HTML and PHP, when dynamic highlighting is enabled if your cursor is within the HTML then the PHP will be dimmed, and if you are in the PHP then the HTML will be dimmed.

But there is another highlight feature "Ctrl+H" at Tools -> Settings-> Editor -> Editor shortcuts ->
named "Highlight It" with description "Mark all locations of symbol under cursor".

So, I select some text, press Ctrl+H and nothing happens.
What about this?
