I'm not sure why you're addressing to NuSphere development team a thing that they did not develop?
Indeed, it's clear that "dbgBar", debugger toolbar for FireFox is NOT a NuSphere product.

I see where you are coming from, but coding Zend Framework (or any MVC library) with PhpEd is not possible to debug without a toolbar (either FF or IE) and if you work in any reasonable IT company where they have banned IE, then your options are limited. Perhaps you should point this out to customers *before* they buy PhpEd? Or do you assume that everyone uses IE?

This is not flame bait, I am interested as I paid my money and got stung :/

I think NuSphere should embrace this toolbar, say thank you and run with it Smile

The debugbreak() statement does wonders; you don't need a toolbar for that Wink

Isn't the purpose of the Trial Version to help you evaluate what PhpED can and cannot do for you?

I took the bait nevertheless Twisted Evil

Now there is one thing we do agree on Wink

Terrible idea to insert code that has to be changed before final customer release just to debug. Our QA won't allow it.

Hi guys, I'm still alive (just)! Apologies for the lack of response on the forum - as is usual with these things I have a family now and my available time has disappeared.

Thanks for releasing a FF3.5 version - its a simple tweak I know, but I've not got round to install 3.5 yet and checking that all the functions are still supported - if I get a spare hour this weekend I might try and release an official update.

I'm not precious about hanging on to the toolbar code - if anyone would like to take it over as a proper open source project then great, let me know, otherwise I will probably contact NuSphere to see if they would like to continue its development - I appreciate there is nothing worse that a bit of software you use getting a small update once in a blue moon!

Let me know what you think

Ian

Thanks for all your hard work on the toolbar iflo, I know I find it invaluable.

As Firefox 3.5 is now officially released if you do get time to do an official update that would be most useful.

Very Happy

DBGBar 0.5 is now awaiting approval on the Mozilla servers. There were no significant changes to the toolbar so hopefully it wont take them too long to approve.

Many thanks to monk.e.boy who did all the hard work this time!

The extension update went live several weeks ago - just search for it in Mozilla Addons.
