There is an option in the settings called "find text at cursor" . I keep tuning it on and off. I'd so much like this one to be splitted in two: find at cursor and find selection...

Personnaly I'd only want to check something called "find selected text".

When I select something and hit ctrl+F, I definitely want to find that selected text. But when I just hit ctrl+F out of the blue, then I want to find soemthing that isn't already right in front of my eyes. Actually, in this case I'd love the find dialog to present me with my last search, because most of the time it means I have made a typo and I need to change one char in the search string.
