I have searched the forums, but I just want to double check because it seems like such a trivial feature to not include.

Can you not create and delete files over ftp/sftp in the explorer?

It looks like I can create folders, so I am sure it is not a permission problem. I am loving phped, despite the fact that I have to run it on a windows box. Lack of support for linux I can understand. But leaving out something as simple as file creation and deletion? Is there a fix/patch for this? It is beyond annoying. Other than this (major as it is), phped is better than Zend.

alrighty, so if I copy a file from the source directory to a temporary directory, rename it and copy it back to the source directory it effectively does what I need without opening a separate ftp program. It would still be nice to just be able to have 'create new file' button.
