I am new to PHP and PHPed and need to use/debug some php scripts that manipulate XML via a DOM interface. I notice with the latest PHPed (eval edition) that there is a php_domxml module. However it seems to be the EXPERIMENTAL version. http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.domxml.php

I would like to use the real version as listed here http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.dom.php Am I missing something as to how/where to get it or which one to use?

I don't know why they didn't mention it but DOM is available with php5 only.
Implicitly they meant that in the following phrase:
"The DOM extension is the replacement for the DOM XML extension from PHP 4"
