delete auto inserted matched bracket or quote

If I try to delete the bracket or quote I just typed the complete text I type before also gets deleted

e.g.

if I type

$Var[' (which results in $Var['']) => backspace

the complete line gets deleted (until <tab>)

is this a bug or a feature?

it's a bug and will be fixed in build 4634.
