I know this forum is intended for discussion/support of the paid-for version of the PHP debugger, but I wonder if anyone can throw any light on why after following the installation instructions very carefully I cannot get the debugger working under Windows XP with PHP 5.2.0. I get the following error in the listener log:

Listener is started
127.0.0.1 client connected
Failed to open or create an instance of IDE CoClass
{FB52DCF0-C1D6-470F-9EB2-F7394C70DED0}. OSERR (0x80004002) 'No such interface supported'
127.0.0.1 client disconnected

The dll is php_dbg.dll-5.2.x and the package came from Expert, but I also tried downloading the free version from this site.

Has anybody succeeded in getting the free version of dbg working with php 5.2 ?

This error means that DbgListener could not run the IDE and from the GUID (FB52DCF0-C1D6-470F-9EB2-F7394C70DED0) it's clearly not PhpED.
Anyway, you may want to re-install the product or re-register necessary interfaces in registry if it allows you to do so. Please contact the IDE maintainers for further instructions.
