Database connection via SSH

A number of the hosts I use with my clients require SSH to connect to their databases. The server is "localhost" for the database at that point. Since the SSH connectivity is already there for the Terminal aspect, would it be much trouble to add it to for the database connection. Similar to what MySQL Workbench allows.

I'd like to second this.

Currently, I have to use Navicat to get database connectivity with SSH tunneling built in. I'd love to see this in PHPEd.

That is not nusphere fault... it is mysqli fault... bether told php fault... that is not really a object as you are used to it... it is a sort of an internall object which can not be serialized and can not be stored inside any kind of casher (it took me 4 days to figure that out, had alooot of problems because of it). Thta should be a future request to php not here.... and i already wrote a report on it on php.net.... no idea when it will show up there tough.
