Code Insight Issue

Hi, I'm using PhpED 16 and there's an issue with Code Insight feature. When I create/open a project and work on it the code insight feature stops working after a few minutes. I have to go to Project Properties -> Code Insight -> Includes and click on the Refresh button to make it work again. This is so annoying because even after refreshing, again it will stop working after a while. Please advise.

PhpED 16 Personal Edition (Build 16060 x64)
Windows 7 Ultimate

PC Specs -

Corei7 3016QM
8GB DDR3 1600

Thank you

Hi, I also updated to the latest version and the problem is still there Sad

This is really frustrating Sad

I have to go to project settings and refresh the includes under Code Insights all the time.

Please fix this.

Thank you

Are all users here who are affected by the bug using TortoiseSVN?

It sure was TortoiseSVN's icon overlay status cache in my case. We had some investigation with the support about it and in the upcoming release it will be fixed. If the issue is still present after the update (current is build 17016) then contact the support.

Tl;dr

Set TortoiseSVN's icon overlays status cache to "Shell", cleanup the svn status + refresh icon overlays should fix the issue temporally. The downside of this is that the svn cache is kept in the explorer's shell extension (dll) which for bigger projects is not good idea as it can slow down the overall stability of the shell in general.

The last version that does not seem to be affected by the bug is 16036 (v16).
